Ananta Jalil's next film will see him reunite with his 'Khoj- The Search' director Iftakar Chowdhury after ten years
Ananta Jalil stepped into the film industry in 2010 with Iftakar Chowdhury's hit film 'Khoj- The Search,' which turned the actor into an instant household name as well as an internet meme.
After ten years, the duo will be reuniting on their next film titled Netri- The Leader.
Starring Ananta and Barsha in lead roles, Netri- The Leader is a Bangladesh-Turkey co-production. Filming would begin as soon as the pandemic is brought somewhat under control.
During the Maharat of Iftakar's latest film Mukti, held on December 7, Jalil revealed further details about their reunion.
"Barsha and I began our career as actors with Iftakar bhai's film. 10 years have passed and misunderstandings between us have been a well-publicized part of these years. But we have resolved those issues and decided to collaborate one more time," the actor said at the ceremony.
Ananta disclosed that the casting of the film is still underway, and he had already visited Turkey to make plans.
On the other hand, the actor's latest film Din- The Day, a Bangladesh - Iran co-production, will hit the theatres on Eid-ul-Azha.
On December 2, Jalil released the song teaser from his upcoming film on Facebook to mixed reactions.
