Written and directed by David Lynch, the new project is set to begin production in May, 2021
Fans of David Lynch have been seeing less and less of the iconic director save for his YouTube series What’s David Up to? and a few DYI projects. Their anticipation for his next project is on an all-time high and fans are glad to learn that Lynch is finally returning to what he does best.
According to reports, the director is working on a new series for Netflix and it will begin filming in May, 2021.
Previously, he told The Daily Beast, “There might be things coming along that would mean less time could be spent on [my YouTube] channel.”
Lynch suggested earlier that he would have been working on a film or series by then had it not been for the pandemic.

Produced by longtime collaborator Sabrina S Sutherland, the shooting of the new series will take place at Calvert Studios in LA. Netflix declined to confirm or deny Lynch's project with the working title Wisteria - hitherto officially untitled.
The David Lynch Foundation, on the other hand, is set to host a virtual benefit concert on December 3 with a goal of providing Transcendental Meditation training to Americans in need. Celebrities like Hugh Jackman and Katy Perry will make appearances to discuss their meditation practice.
