The theme of the competition is “Days  after  COVID-19”

Update : 26 Aug 2020, 11:26 AM

For  the  welfare  of  the  people  with  special  needs  during  the  COVID-19,  CHILD  Foundation  has organized an  online-based  art  competition  titled  “Art  from  Home”.

As soon as lockdown was imposed in the country, all services and activities afforded to the people with special needs, including education and essential medical treatment came to a halt. In addition to  various  physical issues,  mental  illness  has  also flared up amid the pandemic.

In order to make quarantine a little more colourful, creative and productive, this competition has been organized and is only  open  for  people  with  special  needs. Participants  will  be  able  to showcase  their skills  on  painting  and  drawing  in  three age-based  categories.

The theme of the competition is “Days  after  COVID-19”.  Internationally renowned artists Monirul  Islam, Abdus  Shakur and Kanak  Chanpa  Chakma  will  evaluate the submissions.  In this 14-day long competition, artworks will be collected for the competition during the first  seven days and in the next seven days the selected artworks will be displayed from the official Facebook page of CHILD Foundation for public voting.

Based on the number given by judges and maximum “likes”, “comments” and “shares”,   three   winners   will   be   selected   from three categories.

Child  foundation  is a non-political  and  non-profit  organization  in  Bangladesh working with the  goal to provide all forms of support to children, youth and adults with special needs,  building  an inclusive  society with  equal opportunity for  all.
