Courteney Cox wished Matthew Perry on his 51st birthday with a throwback photo yesterday and called Perry her ‘talented, funny friend.’ The Friends co-stars are seen grinning together in the faded photo.
Matthew Perry played Chandler Bing, one of the main six characters in the widely successful sitcom Friends. Notable for his brilliant sense of humour and sarcasm, Bing fell in love in the later seasons with Monica Geller, played by Courteney Cox. Their marriage took place in season 7.
Matthew Perry, an American-Canadian actor, was born on August 19, 1969. He grew up in Ottawa, Ontario, and moved to Los Angeles at the age of 15 to pursue acting.
After Friends wrapped up, Perry had worked in several more sitcoms including Mr Sunshine, The Odd Couple and Go On.
Cox and Perry have remained on good terms after Friends had ended in 2004. In November, Cox shared a picture of them having lunch on Instagram, calling themselves ‘real friends.’
In the meantime, fans have been waiting for the reunion of six main cast members, a project that was supposed to air on HBO Max, but got postponed because of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
