The 80’s widely popular actor died at the age of 72
'Rongin Rupban' actor Sattar passed away at the age of 72. Producers-Distributors Association President Khorshed Alam Khosru confirmed the news to the press.
The actor died of several pre-existing health conditions on August 4 at 7pm while he was being rushed to the Intensive Care Unit of Green Life Medical Hospital.
The 80’s widely popular actor suffered three strokes over the course of eight years, after which he became paralyzed.
Sattar had a long career break from the film industry. F I Manik’s Cacchu Amar Cacchu was the last Bangladeshi film he worked on.
He was buried at the family graveyard in Rupganj, Narayanganj, according to his final wish.
Sattar started his career as a child actor in Amir Sawdagar O Bheluya Sundori in 1968.
Some of his most notable films are Sat Bhai Champa, Sagar Kanya, Arun Barun Kiranmala, Kanchanmala and others.
