Second session of FFSI Online Film Festival kicks off

The festival is open for all

The curtain lifted on the virtual film festival titled FFSI Online Film Festival , organized by Federation of Film Societies of India (Eastern Region) from June 7. The second session kicked off on Monday and would be open for all till next Sunday.

The second session will feature screenings of three feature-length and short films. About  9,000 viewers have enjoyed the first Session of the festival from all over the world.

Rakesh Sharma’s Aftershocks – The Rough Guide to Democracy, Satish Babusenan and Santosh Babusenan’s Darkness, Ashmita Guha’s Cat Dog will be screened throughout the seven-day session.

The first session had included 3 films: the multi-award winning Meenalap by Bangladeshi director Senjutee Suborna Tushee, Ahaa Re by Ranjan Ghose, starring Rituparna Sengupta and Arifin Shuvoo, and Kali, a documentary by Subrata Sen.

The third session will begin on June 22.
