Nawshaba’s act (Puppetry Video Art) is being featured on the fourth day of the festival along with seven other artists
Quazi Nawshaba Ahmed and her duaghter Prokiti Nazareena Ahmed Bela will be featured today by the Independent Global Art Festival 2020.
This distinctly diverse event will feature 60 artists from 15 countries including India, Greece, Iran, Bangladesh, Canada, China, Armenia, Japan, Thailand, USA, Italy,Lebanon, Belgium, and France throughout its run.
The artists are distinguished in their fields and celebrate a variety of traditions,
musical (Indian Classical, Iranian Classical, Greek Traditional Music Ethnic, Folk, Yarsan, Bengal Baul, Contemporary, Instrumental, Fusion, Sufi, Byzantine, Japanese Honkyoku, and Chamber)
as well as visual (Painting, Performance Art, Dance, Puppetry, Ceramics, Costume, and Creative Rituals).

Quazi Nawshaba Ahmed is an actor, voice artist, painter, puppeteer, director and a social activist. The actor worked as the puppeteer behind Sisimpur’s famous adorable puppet character Ikri for seven
years. Her organization together WE CAN trains puppetry to especially abled artist.
Nawshaba’s directorial puppet theater based on a true story “Mukti Aloy Aloy” has been well received.
