'Hridoye Mati O Manush' turns 17

2020 marks the 17th year since Hridoye Mati O Manush - planned, directed and hosted by Seraj - embarked on its unique journey to shed light on the agricultural sector of Bangladesh

Popular agricultural documentary program Hridoye Mati O Manush, hosted by Shykh Seraj, first aired on Channel i in 2004. To mark the 17 year journey of the program, notable economist Debapriya Bhattacharya will make an appearance in the show on February 29 and engage in a discussion session with Seraj.

Seraj, an agricultural development activist, has immensely helped ignite the interest of countless youths in farming over the course of his much admired show. He brought previously unheard tales of our farmers into limelight and reached an unparalleled height of brilliance in agricultural journalism.  

2020 marks the 17th year since Hridoye Mati O Manush - planned, directed and hosted by Seraj - embarked on its unique journey to shed light on the agricultural sector of Bangladesh. It first aired on Bangladesh Television as Mati O Manusin 1982, and continued on Channel i since 2004.

Economist Debapriya Bhattacharya will discuss the show's inception, influence on public psyche, and its journey thus far. The special episode will air on February 29 at 9.40pm on Channel i.
