On February 24, a music video of the song Moner Khobor will be released, in which singer Oyshee is also going to make her acting debut under Saikat Nasir's direction
As the culture of releasing albums is becoming increasingly obsolete in Bangladesh, singer Oyshee is all set to release her new solo album on February 24.
Regarding the album, she said: "After two long years, I am releasing my sixth solo album titled Oyshee Express-2. The album will consist of six songs."
The album will be released under the CMV banner. All the preparations have already been made, Oyshee informed the press.
On February 24, a music video of the song Moner Khobor will be released as well, in which singer Oyshee is also going to make her acting debut under Saikat Nasir's direction.
Oyshee said: "I have previously made appearances in many of my music videos as a singer. However, this is the first time I have an acting part in a music video. I hope my fans and critics will embrace my acting performance as warmly as they have accepted me as a singer over the past years."
Regarding the poor state of the music industry today, she remarked: "I think I am the last generation of singers who have witnessed the peak days of our industry. Many have commented that my decision to release a solo album is brave, particularly in today's context.
"If you ask me, I don't think it has anything to do with bravery, rather it has everything to do with my love for music."
