Prize giving ceremony of Obhoy cover contest took place on Tuesday

At the peace day concert, which was funded by USAID and organized by CREINSE, the song Obhoy had been performed on a public platform for the first time. Around 2100 people attended the concert, during which Artcell called for a contest to cover their song Obhoy

The prize giving ceremony of Obhoy cover contest took place on Tuesday afternoon at Tawfiq Aziz Khan Seminar Hall in the capital. 

The program Rock4Peace has been brought forth by "USAID Obirodh: Road to Tolerance program and Creinse Limited"; with the aim of delivering a message of peace and harmony to today's youths.

The officials from USAID, CREINSE and Artcell band members  Kazi Faisal Ahmed and George Lincoln D’Costa were present at the prize giving ceremony. 

The winner of the contest, Samir Shahriar,  won an electric guitar signed by Artcell and the runner-ups, Mehedi Hasan Bivan and Shahran Mahmud, won an acoustic guitar each.
