Sisimpur returns with season 12 on Duronto TV

Sisimpur is the Bangladeshi version of the children's television series Sesame Street.  One of the goals of Sesame Street has been to capture the attention of children long enough to educate them, elevate their self-esteem, and increase their tolerance for diversity

Popular children’s television show Sisimpur has returned with season 12 on Duronto TV from last Friday. The show is set to be aired twice a day, during  the 12.30pm and 5:30pm time slots. 

Sisimpur began its journey in 2005, with the aim of making learning enjoyable for children. Sisimpur has already successfully completed 11 seasons. Beloved characters of the show Ikri, Halum, Shiku, and Tuktuki have been recently joined by a new character, Raya.

Sesame Workshop Bangladesh (SWB), the country office of Sesame Workshop, produces Sisimpur with an aim to promote the cognitive, social, emotional and physical learning of children.
