The film will feature Siddiqui as a man 'whose journey takes a layered and complicated shape when he meets an Australian girl in the US'
Indian superstar Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s New Year wish was accompanied by good news for Bangladeshi film lovers. The actor, who stars in Mostofa Sarwar Farooki’s upcoming film No Land’s Man, announced the completion of the film’s shooting on Friday.
“It’s a schedule wrap in New York & Sydney for No Land’s Man,” he wrote on both Faceboook and Instagram. “Wonderful experience with the most energetic team #NoLandsMan @farooki_mostofa Wishing Everyone A Very Happy New Year.”
Both of Siddiqui’s social media accounts have a poster of No Land’s Man as its display photo.
The film will feature Siddiqui as a man “whose journey takes a layered and complicated shape when he meets an Australian girl in the US."
Nusrat Imrose Tisha and Farooki will co-produce the film from their Chabial productions. Siddiqui, under his Magic If Films, is also one of the producers.
In 2014, the film won the Motion Picture Association of America and Asia Pacific Screen Awards’ Script Development fund and was part of the Asian Project Market at Busan. It was selected as the best project at India’s Film Bazaar the same year.
The film also stars singer Tahsan and Australian actor Megan Mitchell.
