Deepto TV airs new Turkish serial

The first episode of “Vatanim Sensin” aired on October 26, 2016 on the channel Kanal D

Deepto TV has started airing a new Turkish series “Vatanim Sensin” from Tuesday. Just like the other Turkish serials aired by Deepto TV, this one is also dubbed in Bangla.

The Bangla title of the show is “Jononi Jonmobhumi.”It will air every day from Saturday to Friday at 9:30pm. The same episode will be aired again the next day at 1pm. “

The first episode of “Vatanim Sensin” aired on October 26, 2016 on the channel Kanal D. It stars Halit Ergenç as Cevdet and Bergüzar Korel as Azize.

The series focuses on two aspects of Turkish history; the true story of how the Turkish city Izmir achieved its independence and the life of Turkish historical figure Major Mustafa Mümin Aksoy.

The main character Cevdet is based on the life of Mustafa Mümin Aksoy, whose nickname was "Gavur Mümin.”  

The series begins with the Balkan War, after World War I and the death of Hasan Tahsin, who was the first to open fire on the Greek soldiers that landed at Izmir on May 15, 1919. The first season ended with the foundation of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey on April 23, 1920.

The second season begins with the Treaty of Sèvres on August 10, 1920. The series ended with the Liberation of İzmir by the Turkish army on September 9, 1922.

On the other hand, after many requests from fans, the recently ended Turkish serial “Fatmagul” will also return to the Deepto TV screen on Tuesday. “Fatmagul” will air at 6pm from Saturday to Friday.
