Shilpakala Academy sends three cultural teams to India on Victory Day

The first event titled Bangladesh Festival will be held at Mumbai on Monday. The performance team will be led by ASM Hasan Al Amin, deputy secretary of Bangladesh’s Cultural Affairs Ministry, and Hasan Mahmud, public relations officer of BSA will be acting as the coordinator

Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy (BSA) has sent three cultural teams to India’s Mumbai, Agartala, and Kolkata to perform in events celebrating Bangladesh’s 49th Victory Day on Monday. The teams left from Dhaka on Saturday.

The first event titled Bangladesh Festival will be held at Mumbai on Monday. The performance team will be led by ASM Hasan Al Amin, deputy secretary of Bangladesh’s Cultural Affairs Ministry, and Hasan Mahmud, public relations officer of BSA will be acting as the coordinator.

Other members of the group are Registration Assistant Md Nuruzzaman, vocalists Dinat Jahan Munni and Khairul Islam, choreographers Anik Bose, ABM Shahidul Islam, Munmun Biswas Mun and Smita Dey and instrumentalists Parth Pratam Guha, Monwar Hossain and Rupatanu Das Sharma.

Senior Assistant Chief of the Ministry of Cultural Affairs Ahmed Shibli, will act as the leader of the program for Monday at Agartala, Tripura titled Bangladesh Victory Day

Syed Zakir Hossain, a cultural officer of BSA will be its coordinator. Other members of the group are BSA Administrative Officer Mangal Jyoti Chakma, vocalist Sharmin Sathi Islam and Ashraf Udas, choreographers Israt Tabassum, Avantika Alreza and Aishwarya Basak and instrumentalists Sushant Kumar Ghosh, Robbins Chowdhury and Mohammad Nasir Uddin.

Bangladesh Victory Festival will be held in Kolkata on December 17-19. Jasmine Nahar, senior assistant secretary of the Ministry of Cultural Affairs, will be acting as the group leader, and Haider Ali, cultural officer of BSA, will be acting as the coordinator. 

Other members of the team are vocalists Syed Abdul Hadi, Aditi Mohsin, Yasmin Mustari and Azgar Alim, and instrumentalists Shakil Mohammad Sabir Uddin, Pallab Sanyal, and Kaiyum Khan.
