The festival kicked off through art competition for children on Sultan complex of local Shilpakala Academy on Saturday
A two-day SM Sultan festival featuring dhamaal and baul songs, traditional dance, and acrobatic shows ended on high notes.
The festival which was held on the premises of Shilpakala Academy in Narail ended on Sunday. The visitors enjoyed various cultural activities throughout the festival.
The festival also featured movie screening and exhibition.
Liaquat Ali Lucky, the director general of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy enjoyed the cultural programs along with Anjuman Ara, the deputy commissioner (DC) of Narail.
Liaquat Ali Lucky said: Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy has been organizing the festival for the last few years. We hope to make the festival a bigger one in future.
The festival kicked off through art competition for children on Sultan complex of local Shilpakala Academy on Saturday.
Tareque Masud’s first film, "Adam Surot," was screened in the evening at the open space theater of the academy.
A solo art exhibition by artist Saki was a part of the festival. Besides that, the festival also featured other exhibitions by artists Nikhil Das, Baldeb, and Bimanesh Bishwan.
