The film will be released on its scheduled release date, November 29
Bangladesh's first surfing film No Dorai(Dare to Surf) has received approval from the Bangladesh Film Censor Board. The film had hit a roadblock on Thursday, when the board found it to contain 'objectionable' dialogue.
Alterations have now been made, and the film has finally received the green light from the Censor Board.
No Dorai, which means "not afraid" in Chittagonian dialect, features actor Shariful Raj and model Sunerah Binte Kamal in the lead roles.
The film was directed by Taneem Rahman Angshu, and shot by cinematographer Suman Sarker. Popular Bangladeshi singer Xefer Rahman served as executive producer.
Rahman told Dhaka Tribune’s Showtime: “Back in 2017, we went to Film Bazaar for financing No Dorai, as we were selected for the Co-Production Market segment that year. This year the film made it to their Viewing Room 2019 segment.”
