Legendary Bangladeshi rock band Miles has recently performed in five concerts around Canada. The Canada tour was part of their world tour marking their 40th anniversary celebration.

This time Shafin Ahmed, bassist and vocals of Miles, performed at different stages in Canada. Previously, he could not attend the concerts in the US due to visa related complications.

Shafin Ahmed said in a press statement: “It was a temporary accident due to which I could not attend the concerts in the US. We'll also perform together in Australia after completing the tour in Canada. We are a family and  I have personally missed the American audience. Hamin Ahmed had to face extra pressure during the last couple of concerts. Now he needs a little bit of vocal rest.’

The first concert of Miles’ Canada tour was held on September 7 at the invitation of an organization called Miles in Calgary. The organizers donated the income of the concerts to the Alberta Cancer Foundation.

At the start of the Calgary concert, Miles greeted the audience on their 40th anniversary.

They performed Nila Tumi Ki Jano Na, Shesh Bikeler Alote, Chad Tara Surjjo Nou Tumi, Ki Jadu, Ami Kotokal Khujbo Tomay, Dhiki Dhiki Agun Jole, and Firiye Dao Amar E Prem Tumi

They entertained the audience of Calgary by performing some of their other popular tracks too.

Similarly, they also rocked the audience of Winnipeg on September 15, Edmonton on September 20, Ottawa on September 21 and Toronto on September 28.

After successfully completing the shows in Canada, Miles will head to Australia to perform there.

Miles is scheduled to return home on October 31.
