The trailer of Abhishek Sharma’s The Zoya Factor follows Zoya (Sonam Kapoor), who was born on the day India won the cricket world cup on June 25, 1983. Her father (Sanjay Kapoor) believes that Zoya will have great luck throughout her life. However, her life goes through a constant string of hurdles.
Things finally change, when Zoya’s advertising job takes her close to the Indian cricket team. Zoya’s presence works like a lucky charm for the team. Romance brews between Zoya, and the team’s captain Nikhil (Dulquer Salmaan).
This is Malayalam star Salmaan’s second Hindi film after the 2018 film Karwaan. Based on Anuja Chauhan’s 2008 novel of the same name, the script is written by Neha Sharma, and Pradhuman Singh Mall.
The Zoya Factor also stars Angad Bedi and Koel Purie, among others. The film is set for a September 20 release.
