In 2005, the departed legend Ayub Bachchu recorded a song for the album Fish Fash Fish, however due to technical reasons the track was not included in the final version of the album. 14 years after that recording, that same song titled Vabsutro, got released by Soundtek on their YouTube channel, at 4pm on Friday on the occasion of Bachchu's birthday.

The lyrics for Vabsutro was written by Marzuk Russell. The tune and composition was done by Bachchu himself. The song had been re-mastered by Anisuzzaman Anis.

Marzuk gave the background behind the track, in a footnote under the song video, on YouTube. It reads: "In 2004 I was working on an album titled Fish Fash Fish. The lyrics were by me. And the singers were Ayub Bachchu, Asif, and Pantha Kanai. The tune and composition were done by Bachchu bhai, and Tito.

"After working for a long time we recorded four songs by each artiste- a total of 12 songs. The four songs by Bachchu bhai were recorded in AB Kitchen, and the remaining songs by Asif, and Kanai were recorded at Sound Garden Studio. The album was released on January 10 of 2005 with 11 tracks due to a technical reason.

"Only one song remained unreleased, which was tuned, composed, and voiced by Bachchu bhai. Gradually days, months, and years had gone by, and everyone involved in the project forgot about the unreleased track," Marzuk wrote in the footnote.

Then Marzuk wrote how the song eventually came to be released. He wrote: "Afterwards I became more involved with visual medium instead of songs and poems, but I used to remember that song now and then. When Bachchu bhai passed away on October 18, 2018, I recalled all the beautiful memories I shared with him for music, and since then whenever I am awake, I could not stop thinking about the unreleased track Vabsutro. I contacted Soundtek's Babul bhai (Sultan Mahmud Babul), and reminded him about the song. He took some days to search, and eventually found the Digital Audio Tape (DAT) of the song, which was recorded 14 years ago.

"He asked me if I knew of someone with a DAT player. When we sent the song to someone within our contacts with a DAT player, 10 to 12 days had passed, but nothing happened. In between I contacted LRB's Masud, and while reminiscing about the past, I mentioned the song. He said that the studio is locked, and when it opens he might be able to let us know.

"Anyways, through mutual contacts we got to know about Anis bhai (Prometheus's Anisuzzaman Anis). The fungus-infected DAT of the song was recovered by Anis bhai through some technical, and his-own-invented methods, and then he edited, and re-mastered the song. Thank you to Anis Bhai. Thank you to Sultan Mahmud Babul bhai, and Soundtek authority. It is a bittersweet feeling to think that the song is reaching Bachchu bhai's fans in his absence."
