A seven month long plan is setup for their 40 years celebration. After touring USA, Canada, and Australia, four concerts in Chittagong, Sylhet, Khulna and Rajshahi, and a gala concert in Dhaka have been announced. The gala event in Dhaka will be held at the Army Stadium or International Convention City in Bashundhara, according to the world tour organizer Windmill Advertising

Shafin Ahmed, bassist of legendary Bangladeshi rock band Miles, could not join the other members of their band on the US tour due to passport related complications. The tour is a part of their world tour, marking their 40 years anniversary as a band. Shafin announced in a recent press statement that he will join his band mates in the upcoming concerts as soon as he gets his passport back from the US embassy.

Shafin said in the press statement: “How am I supposed to go if I don’t get my passport back? All of the band members went to the American embassy together. The embassy did not return my passport. This is a fairly common thing for an embassy. I am waiting to get my passport back. I will join the tour with my band members as soon as that happens.”

The other members of the band also confirmed that Shafin could not join the tour due to passport related issues.

Meanwhile, Miles has already done 10 shows across the US without Shafin. They have rocked the crowds in 10 cities. Miles performed on June 22 in New Jersey, June 28 in Virginia, June 29 in Maryland, July 5 in Baltimore, July 6 in Michigan, July 7 in Los Angeles, July 14 in New York, July 16 in Atlantic City, July 20 in Phoenix, July 21 in San Jose, July 27 in Florida.
