One of the things about Netflix’s popular show Stranger Things that many of its fans find appealing is how it makes them feel nostalgic for the 80s. 

The third season of the supernatural sci-fi thriller was released on the online streaming platform on July 4, and has been viewed a record number of times since, Netflix said.

Foreigner's 1978 platinum hit Hot Blooded, plays in the show as the score for Karen Wheeler's (Cara Buono’s) escalating passion for Billy.

Never Surrender by Corey Hart

This song is featured during the intimate moments between Mike (Finn Wolfhard) and Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown).  Canadian singer Corey Hart dominated the chart in the ‘80s.

The group's music also appeared in films such as The Goonies - a major influence for Stranger Things.
