Pratt reportedly met Katherine through Shriver, who he knew through church
Arnold Schwarzenegger's daughter Katherine, 29, and "Guardian of the Galaxy" star Chris Pratt, 39, announced on Instagram that they married last Saturday.
The couple wrote on their posts: "Yesterday was the best day of our lives! We became husband and wife in front of God, our families and those we love. It was intimate, moving and emotional."
The marriage took place in San Ysidro Ranch in Montecito, California, according to a source close to Pratt, reports CNN. The rehearsal took place on Friday at Rob Lowe's house.
The couple, who announced their engagement in January, also informed that Giorgio Armani designed both their gown and suit.
Katherine is the daughter of the actor and former California governor Arnold Schwarzenegger and broadcast journalist Maria Shriver, who is a niece of President John F Kennedy.

Pratt, who is also known for his roles in "Parks and Recreation" and "Jurassic World," has a son, Jack, with his ex-wife actor Anna Faris. They separated in 2017 after eight years of marriage.

Faris congratulated Pratt following his Instagram announcement of his engagement: "I'm so happy for you both!"
At the time Pratt wrote: "Sweet Katherine, so happy you said yes! I'm thrilled to be marrying you. Proud to live boldly in faith with you. Here we go!"
