Among the films, three were released in theatres, while one was released on YouTube

On the occasion of Eid-Ul-Fitr this year, four films were released across the country.

Among the films, three were released in theatres, while one was released on YouTube.


Dhallywood superstar Shakib Khan’s anticipated film “Password” is being screened at 180 theatres across the nation. Directed by Malek Afsari, the cast of the film includes Shabnam Bubli, Misha Sawdagar, and Amit Hasan in addition to Shakib. 

The story of the film revolves around Rudro, whose life changes when he accidentally receives the password to the powerful Don Victor’s bank account.  

The Director:

Twelve years after the completion of shooting, “The Director” was released on YouTube on Eid day. Directed by Kamruzzaman Kamu, the film can be found on the SUN bdtube channel.  

The film stars popular actor Popy alongside Marzuk Russell, Mosharraf Karim, Nafa, Tanveen Sweety, Nafisa Jahan, and Tareque Mahmud. 

It tells the story of a relationship between a director and an actor. 


Another film by Dhallywood super-start Shakib Khan, “Nolok” was released at 80 theatres across the country. 

The film stars Shakib Khan, Bobby, Omar Sani, Moushumi, Tariq Anam Khan, Rajatava Dutta, Shahidul Alam Sachchu, Suprio Dutta, Nima Rahman, and Rebeka Rouf.

It was directed by Sakib Sonet & Team, while Raju Raj was the cinematographer. Ferari Farhad wrote the script. 

Abar Bosonto:

Directed by Anonno Mamun, “Abar Bosonto” depicts the struggles of a widower, played by Tarik Anam Khan, who places the majority of his focus on his daughter only to be left alone once again. Eventually, the father tries to find new hope and happiness. 

The film, also stars Orchita Sporshia, Imtu Ratish, Monira Mithu, Corobi Rizvi, and Mukti Zakaria. 

Mehedi Rony did the cinematography for the film, which is being screened at 7 theatres in different cities.
