Feedback, one of the first popular rock bands of Bangladesh, will host a anniversary concert to mark four decades of its formation. The announcement was made at a press conference, held by the band members and organizers of the event on Wednesday in Dhaka.
The organizers announced that the concert will be held on April 30 in Hall 3 of International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB) in the capital. The show will start at 6:30pm and gates will open from 5:30pm. The online registration link for the event will be announced on its Facebook page, named “4 Decades of Feedback”.
Former Feedback frontman and vocalist of Maqsood O' Dhaka, Maqsoodul Haque, in a recent video message shared on the official Facebook page of the event, said: “I actually started with Feedback back in 1978. The people who were and are currently doing music with Feedback, and who will perform in this show, all of us are still alive and rocking. All of us are still with music and none of us are doing anything except music, and I think that is the biggest achievement of Feedback. We are one big family.”
He also invited everyone to join this celebration concert at ICCB on April 30.
Feedback was formed on October 4, 1976 in Dhaka by renowned keyboardist Foad Nasser Babu. It is still one of the widely popular rock bands in the region. The current lineup features Pearo Khan, Labu Rahman, Shahnur Rahman Lumin, Enam Elahi Tonty and Foad Nasser Babu.
