A New Year resolution is a tradition in which we believe we can change ourselves for a happier life. Every year we set some goals with a motto to improve our life. As 2019, a brand new year has entered our lives;we asked some of the prominent musicians of the country about their New Year resolution. They shared their New Year plans regarding their music with the Dhaka Tribune’s Showtime. 

Habib Wahid

Habid told us: “I usually don’t make plans or make a list of goals to accomplish every year but this year I want to focus more on my music, and want to make plenty of music videos for my YouTube channel.”

“I am also planning to release at least one music video every month from the channel,” said a hopeful Habib. 

Sheikh Monirul Alam Tipu (Warfaze)

Recently, Warfaze finished touring Australia, and they had successful shows in Melbourne, Brisbane, and Sydney.  While talking about New Year resolutions Warfaze drummer, Tipu said: “This year we want to finish the work on our album as soon as possible.”

“Besides, working on the album, we will focus on our online presence for which planning to make music videos.”

He further said that this year the band would be busy with more overseas shows as well.

Rafa (AvoidRafa)

Multi talented musician Rafa, drummer and vocalist of AvoidRafa wants to release a full length album containing 8 to 10 songs. “I am almost done with the recording and I am planning to release a proper album along with visual contents,” said Rafa.

“This year hopefully there would be some changes in the AvoidRafa line-up, with a hope to have a solid line-up featuring experienced musicians.”

Breaking barriers, this New Year AvoidRafa might perform at multiple concerts in Kolkata.
