Popular singer Dilshad Nahar Kona performed a duet with Mahtim Shakib, a singer who gained huge following among youngsters with his cover numbers on his YouTube channel.
Speaking to the Dhaka Tribune’s Showtime, Mathim said: “It was my first duet, and I was so lucky to get to sing the song with a legend like Kona apu. It was an amazing experience."
Music director Naved Parvez tuned and arranged music for the song, while Johny Hoque penned the lyrics.
“Director Raz told me the story and asked me to write a song based on the plot,” Johny said in a conversation with the Dhaka Tribune. “Naved sent me the tune and I wrote the lyrics while I was visiting Kolkata.
“I started writing the song at 6pm, and I was done by 1am. It was a great adrenaline rush for me,” he further added. “There is a flute part in the song which is very catchy.”
Johny said the song would be released on YouTube at the end of this month or in January once the election season is over.
The song, titled “Kichhu kotha,” will be featured as the title track of web series “Kuasha,” directed by Mohammad Mostafa Kamal Raz , and starring Tisha and ABM Sumon.
