Priyanka was reportedly dressed in a pink ensemble with kundan jewellery and performed a dance act for Nick
Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas danced on their sangeet party, on November 30 at the Umaid Bhawan Palace in Jodhpur. Among other attractions at the sangeet were Bollywood, Punjabi, and Rajasthani numbers performed by Priyanka’s cousin, Parineeti Chopra, alongside other Indian and international artistes.
Priyanka said in an interview that the guests would need a vacation from the exhaustion of participating in the wedding celebrations. From the looks of the sangeet, it seems the “Quantico” star just might have been right.
Joseph Radhik, who is reportedly filming Nick and Priyanka’s wedding, posted a story on Instagram captioned: “OK. It’s been 8 years of wedding photography, and tonight I may just have witnessed the most amazing Sangeet night of em all. Wow.” Radhik filmed Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma’s wedding in Italy as well.
Priyanka was reportedly dressed in a pink ensemble with kundan jewellery and performed a dance act for Nick. The groom-to-be, later performed a number for her.
Earlier on Friday evening, the high profile guests landed at Jodhpur airport to be a part of Priyanka and Nick’s sangeet ceremony. Among the guests spotted by the paparazzi were Nita Ambani, her daughter Isha Ambani, her husband Mukesh Ambani, singer Manasi Scott, Arpita Khan Sharma, her son Ahil, YouTuber Lilly Singh, television host Anusha Dandekar, her boyfriend Karan Kundra, fashion designer Sabyasachi Mukerjee, and makeup artist Mickey Contractor.
Priyanka and Nick will tie the knot twice to show respect for each other’s culture. The couple will marry according to Hindu rituals on December 2 after a Christian wedding ceremony, which will be officiated by Nick’s father.
The wedding reception for friends and family will be held at the Taj Palace Hotel in Delhi. Another wedding reception will follow the week after, for the film fraternity in Mumbai.
