Bassbaba Sumon of Aurthohin, rocked out with his incredible bass skills even though he had to sit while playing due to a bad spinal condition
The 4th concert show of the Legacy of Rock n’ Roll, hosted previously in Dhaka, Sylhet, and Chittagong was once again held at the International Convention Centre, Bashundhara (ICCB) in Dhaka, on Friday. The gates to the venue were opened at 3pm and the concert continued till 10pm.
It felt like winter was starting to set in and what better way to warm yourself up, than to jump up and down and head-bang to your favourite rock bands playing live.
The concert organized at the ICCB hall-2, saw bands such as Warfaze, Aurthohin, Nemesis, AvoidRafa, Powersurge, Trainwreck, Savagery and Echoes take the stage.
At the beginning of the concert, the organizers observed 30 seconds of silence in memory of the late Ayub Bachchu, one of the pioneers of rock music in Bangladesh. Later, Savagery took the stage and kicked off the show with a tribute to Ayub Bacchu’s hit song “Ghumonto Shohore.”
Even with a smaller crowd than usual, the artists managed to connect with an enthused audience and provide them with a thrilling experience. However, the hall did the artists little justice. There was an issue with the acousticsof the venue, as it was not built as a concert hall. Although nothing beats an open air concert, the talented artists on stage never let the audience notice the flawed hall making an echo and lose sharpness.
Bands to come on first besides Savagery were Trainwreck, Echoes and Powersurge. Later in the show came AvoidRafa, Nemesis, Warfaze and finally Aurthohin. The crowd broke into cheers at the sight of them and sang along with every single song, especially, when the bands played audiences’ requests.

Shams Mansoor Ghani of Warfaze (keyboards and vocal), talked about how organizing rock and roll shows more frequently will promote rock culture in Bangladesh mainstream music industry.
Celebrities, corporate icons, media personalities, artists, and a large number of rock music fans enjoyed the concert.
All bands played both their original numbers as well covers from their favourite bands.
