Underground band Attic released its first music video, titled “Echoes in Your Attic,” on online platforms like Facebook and YouTube on September 3.
Within a few days of its release, the music video has amassed positive response on social media because of its refreshing and international appeal. The music video has been watched more than 50,000 times on YouTube as of Sunday.
Most of the viewers are pouring in praise for the cinematography and the execution of the music video. One of the comments said: “‘Echoes in Your Attic’ is possibly be one of the best music videos produced in Bangladesh.”
Speaking to the Dhaka Tribune Showtime, the band said: “We are overwhelmed to see the audience’s reaction. The message section in Attic’s official page and channel are filled with good wishes not only from listeners, but also from some of the biggest names in Bangladesh band fraternity. Jon Kabir from Indalo and Zohad Reza Chowdhury from Nemesis are some of the distinguished well-wishers who congratulated us for our music video and also shared it on their wall.”
Attic is showcasing their merit for the last seven years – from the very beginning of their involvement with music. “Echoes in Your Attic” is the fourth original single of the band and their first-ever music video, with chic indie-rock music that has already become a trendsetter.
The band comprises Shadab Shams on lead vocal, Tauhid Shamsuddin on lead guitar, Gourav Nandy on the synthesizer and keyboard, Sharar Shayor on backing vocal and bass guitar, and Sayem Chowdhury on the drums.
“Echoes in Your Attic” is produced by Glitch and they envision making more videos of such international standard in near future as well.
