Minister of Commerce Tofail Ahmed presented the CIP 2015 awards in 19 categories at a crest-giving ceremony at the Radisson hotel in Dhaka on Monday
Industrialist and popular actor, Ananta Jalil, received the Commercially Important Persons (CIP) award once more from the Bangladesh government. He has been a regular receiver of this award for his business activities through the AJI group.
Minister of Commerce Tofail Ahmed presented the CIP 2015 awards in 19 categories at a crest-giving ceremony at the Radisson hotel in Dhaka on Monday.
The Commerce Ministry and Export Promotion Bureau (EPB) recognized 136 business people of the country with these awards, for their contribution to the economy.
Ananta shared the news of this honour on his Facebook page with photos and a caption: “Alhamdulillah! CIP again!”
As a CIP, Ananta will receive special passes to enter the secretariat, special stickers to place on his cars, and invitations to attend some public functions. He will also get priority in seat reservations for airlines, the railways, and public transport, and letters of introduction from the foreign ministry for travel abroad. Ananta and his family can also make use of cabins in hospitals on a priority basis.
