Bamba working the crowd after four years
With the rhythm of music and the claps of the audience, laser lights danced with the beats of 11 popular bands of Bangladesh as Bamba (Bangladesh Musical Bands Association) resurrected on Thursday. BAMBA Live Chapter One began at 2pm at Hall 4 Nabaratri, International Convention Centre, Bashundhara. Famous bands like Miles, Warfaze, Feedback, Aurthohin, Dalchhut, Maq O’ Dhaka, Pentagon, Nemesis, Arbovirus, Vikings, Shunno and others performed at the event. At the beginning of the concert, Shunno came to the stage with “Shoto Asha,” followed by the band’s most popular songs, including “Cholo Aj Fire Jai Godhulir Opare” and “Shono Mohajon” one by one. Maq O’ Dhaka later performed “Melay Jaire.” The crowd was elated when Miles took the stage. The excitement increased as the lead vocalist of Miles and the President of Bamba, Hamin Ahmed sang “Jala Jala,” “Swopnobhongo” and “Prottasha.” Feedback followed with “Moushumi” and “Theme Geche Swapno.” The concert reached a new height with Dalchhut’s “Ami Tomakei Bole Debo,” “Pori,” “Din Bari Jay,” “Baaji,” and so on. Aurthohin came next with their hit songs “Chaite Paro,” “Tomar Ostitwo,” “Jochhona” and “Chaite Paro-2.” After Aurthohin, Warfaze instantly dazzled the crowd with “Hotasha,” “Purnota,” “Oshamajik,” “Tomake Mone Porbe” and “Boshe Achhi Eka.” Vikings performed their hit numbers “Bhalobashi Jare” and “Opekkha.” Arbovirus played “Hariye Jao,” “Jalo Agun Jalo,” among other hits. Nemesis ended the show with “Obocheton,” “Bir,” “Swopnosur” and “Kobe.” Bamba hopes to periodically organize such concerts with the popular bands to bring band music lovers together from time to time.
