Bangladeshi expatriate model and actor Sadia Nabila starred as the lead in a Bollywood film for the first time in “Pareshaan Parinda,” which was released across India on March 28.
Sadia recently told the press that the opportunity was like a dream to her. “I have had a few workshops to learn Hindi. Until now, everyone has given positive reviews about the film,” she said.
She added that her passion for acting and interest in modelling began in her childhood, and was encouraged by her family. In 2017, she was selected as the first runner-up in the Miss India Worldwide competition.
Sadia left Saidpur district of Bangladesh for Australia on an education visa in 2013.
She has previously studied in information technology and is currently working as a dance instructor at the Canberra Bollywood Dance School.
Sadia visited Bangladesh last November to attend a few family programs. She also worked on a few projects during her two month stay, including commercials and short films.
She also said that she wants to work in Bangladeshi feature films and expressed her interest in working with Jaaz Multimedia. She added that she hoped to work alongside renowned actors Shakib Khan or Arifin Shuvoo.
