‘Bishorjan’ to be on hoichoi.tv from March 30

Multi-award winning film ‘Bishorjan’ will be available to stream on Kolkata based video streaming service hoichoi.tv from March 30. Acclaimed actor Jaya Ahsan shared the news on Facebook with a picture and the caption: “Can love be sacrificed? Or is the story a complete lie?” Written and directed by Kaushik Ganguly, the movie was initially released on last Bengali New Year- April 14, 2017. The film won Best Bengali Film award at the 64^th National Film Awards in India. Jaya Ahsan also won Best Actress (popular choice) at the Jio Filmfare Awards (East) for her portrayal of the Bangladeshi widow, Padma, in the film. Starring opposite her as her love interest was popular Indian actor Abir Chatterjee.
