Cultural Affairs Minister Asaduzzaman Noor wins best actor award for ‘Hotel Albatross’
Famous Bangladeshi actor and the country’s current Cultural Affairs Minister Asaduzzaman Noor won the Best Actor award for drama thriller “Hotel Albatross” at the 2018 “Anondo Alo Charunirom Drama Awards". The single episode TV and web fiction was directed by Nuhash Humayun. Noor was one of the most popular actors of his time and portrayed many notable characters in TV dramas by Humayun Ahmed including the timeless “Baker Bhai” from the famous “Kothao Keu Nei.” Many years later, he received the Best Actor award in Humayun’s son Nuhash’s project in the “Anondo Alo Charunirom Drama Awards 2018.” The web drama was very well received by the audience as well. The same project acquired two other awards -  Best New Director (Nuhash) and Best Editor (Bashar Georges). The award show was held at Shahbag public library auditorium on March 11. The awards for 12 categories were given among 24 TV dramas.
