A national committee for the welfare of descendants of freedom fighters organized a 6 day long “Liberation war film exhibition” in Feni to say “No” to terrorism and terrorists and to spread the spirit of liberation war. Overseeing these activities is actor Rokeya Prachi.
The Vice Chancellor of Feni University Professor Saifuddin Shah and treasurer Taybul Hoque were also present at the opening ceremony on February 12, where Nasiruddin Yousuf’s “Guerrilla” was screened.
“We, the inhabitants of Feni, don’t support corruption, terrorism or war crimes. These are auspicious times for Feni when we want to win the war of conscience,” said Rokeya Prachi at the opening ceremony.
As a part of this exhibition, organizers will go to educational and cultural institutions for to collect signatures in solidarity with the spirit of liberation war and anti-terrorism. Volunteer organization “Shopno Shajai” will assist Rokeya Prachi in this endeavour.
