Official poster of Mustafizur Rahman Manik’s feature film ‘Jannat’ was released on Monday afternoon on his Facebook profile.
The director told the press recently that he wanted to keep the suspense of the film’s plot with this teaser poster which features the film’s lead cast Mahiya Mahi and Symon Sadik in very different looks.
The poster was designed by Sajjad Sayem who is well known in the industry for making unique film posters.
Ali Raz, Misha Shawdagar, Shimul Khan and more will be seen in other roles of the film. Produced by SS Multimedia, the film’s story was written by Sudipta Khan while the screenplay was written by Asad Zaman.
The film’s story features an ordinary rural couple who were brought up in strict religious regulations. All of a sudden the guy starts to change and gets involved in a huge criminal activity. Their relationship gets even more complicated and distant.
The film is scheduled to be released soon.
On another note, the director Mustafizur Rahman Manik is currently busy shooting “Ananda Ashru” which will feature veteran actors Misha Sowdagar and Ali Raj in major roles and Mahiya Mahi in the lead. The film shares the same title of Salman Shah-Shabnur duo's 1997 film directed by Shibly Sadik. The film was released a year after the untimely demise of the heartthrob actor and has since garnered a cult following.
Manik previously told the press that he “just borrowed the title” and it won't be a sequel or reboot of the original Salman Shah film.
