Update : 07 Feb 2018, 11:18 PM
Fusion band, Baul Xpress will release their first album on Thursday. With six Lalon songs, one song of Shah Alam Sarker and one original song, the self titled album will be released on the band’s official website. The songs are also available on the ReverbNation website and “Gaan” App. Baul Xpress has been creating music for the last eight years. Their first music video, “Khaja Baba” was released on YouTube a month ago. Their original track “Ki labh holo” is a progressive rock/blues song based on the journey of Bangladesh since 1971. The vocalist and base guitarist Masekur Rahaman Bappy said, “After eight long years, we’re breathing the sigh of relief to be able to finally release the album.” Drummer Rumi Kawser Talukder Kamol said, “Due to the many restrictions of music labels, we released the album on our website instead.” Bappy told Showtime that the ban will release a new music video every month. Four of the videos have already been shot, he said. The band was founded in 2010 by Bappy and Kamol. Prosh on guitar and Eem on keys joined the duo afterwards to complete the lineup.
