“O Poraner Pakhire,” the smashing hit song of the 90’s is all set to set get a new rendition after almost thirty years.
The new version of the song is being composed keeping the first verse of the original lyrics penned by Kazi Faruk Babul. Rest of the lyrics for the song have been penned by Rabiul Islam Jibon.
Tuhin Ahmed Al Amin has replaced Khayem Ahmed as the composer in the new rendition.
Famous pop singer duo Belal Khan and Puja have voiced the song, which was blended with Slim Kid’s rap verses.
Aside from the new audio rendition, “O Poraner Pakhire” will also get a new music video. Directed by Soikot Nasir, the vibrant music video will feature model Toya and Arnob. A promo of the video has already been published on January 25.
“Basically, we wanted to dance and audience will see its impact in the music video,” said Arnob.
He added: “Since it is an old song, we did the video keeping the demands of new generation in mind.”
Shoot for the took place at BFDC in last December and was participated by both the models and the new singers of the song.
The new rendition of “O Poraner Pakhire” will be released on the official YouTube channel of SA Production on December 31, confirmed “Desha: The Leader” famed director Saikat Nasir.
