Jessia Islam to star in 'Bachelor Dot Com'

Model and Miss Bangladesh 2017 Jessia Alam is set to star in a TV serial titled “Bachelor Dot Com.” After her participation in the global round of Miss World, Jessia has been offered numerous roles in films and TV dramas, she revealed in a recent interview with a local media outlet. The 18-year-old model said that she decided to join the cast of “Bachelor Dot Com” because of her fondness for the character she will play. According to the actor, she will play the role of a rich girl who has separated herself from her family and now lives in a hostel due to her aggravating relationship with her father followed by the death of her mother. The TV serial, which Jessia likes to tag as “realistic,” will be directed by Iftekher Shuvo. Shooting for the drama will commence in February. Jessia Islam, who made it to the “Final 40” at the 67th Miss World 2017, ended her journey in the semi-finals. The 'Miss World Bangladesh' winner competed with contestants from a total of 120 countries in the initial “Head to Head Challenge.” Jessia was also ranked second in public voting.
