Israeli actor, singer, martial artist and model Gal Gadot, widely known for her breakout film “Wonder Woman” in the DC Extended Universe was the sixth-most searched person worldwide.
According to the recently published list of Google, Gadot was also the third most searched actor throughout the year while both the films that the actor has starred in, “Wonder Woman” and the ensemble superhero flick “Justice League,” were the second and fifth most-searched films respectively.
But who searched the 32-year-old actor the most?
Despite being born and bred in Israel and even serving in the Israel Defense Forces, she was being searched the most in the Philippines.
Gadot’s global position in the Google search list beats that of Melania Trump and Michael Flynn.
The actor’s magnum opus “Wonder Woman” was the highest-grossing film of summer 2017, stateside with $412.6 million. The film hailed to have the best opening ever for a live-action film by a female director, with $103.2M stateside, as well as the best worldwide with $821.8 million.
To the delight of her fans, Gadot is locked in to reprise her role as the protagonist in the “Wonder Woman” sequel, which will also be directed by the director of the first film, Patty Jenkins.
As of now, “Wonder Woman 2” is set to hit the theatres on November 1, 2019.
