Famous American singer-songwriter Taylor Swift released the music video of her new song “Ready For It” on Thursday. This is the second released song of the artist’s sixth studio album “Reputation, which is due November 10.
The three-minute clip reportedly embeds hidden messages in it.
In the second video off her new album portrays a face-off between two cyborg versions of Swift against in each other in a sci-fi production, which is seemingly inspired from “Ghost in the Shell.”
Fans took to social media to point to possible allusion to her ex-boyfriends. Within a few hours of its release, “Ready For It” became the no.1 trending video on YouTube and has been viewed nearly 5 million times as of today, followed by some 76 thousand comments.
The video also includes signs in the background that read “Year of the Snake” in Chinese characters, along with “They’re burning all the witches” scrawled along the side of a staircase.
Joseph Kahn, the director of the music video who have been collaborating with Swift for several other videos, including “Bad Blood” and “Look What You Made Me Do,” egged the fans on Twitter, writing, “Love that you are digging deep. Have fun!”
