The US-based rapper Snoop Dogg’s new song slams President Donald Trump in its opening line saying: “The president said he wants to make America great again…we’re going to make America crip (crippled) again."
After Eminem and Big Sean, the rap legend Snoop Dogg’s new track styled “Make America Crip Again” continues to rip the POTUS on his recent tweet attacks against players of the National Football League (NFL), who kneeled when the national anthem was being played, protesting the racial injustice.
Earlier this week, Trump criticised the league as NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell announced that NFL players do not have to stand during the anthem as it would encourage them to stand for the anthem. Trump then tweeted: “The NFL has decided that it will not force players to stand for the playing of our National Anthem. Total disrespect for our great country!"
Snoop Dogg also defends NFL free agent Colin Kaepernick in the new song, who started the league protest when he kneeled down on the field last year. Snoop defended his actions by rapping that he “was blackballed,” and “This still America with three K's.”
This is not the first time Snoop Dogg has lashed out on the president with a song. In March, his video of the song “Lavender” by the Canadian group BadBadNotGood showed an assassination on a clown dressed as President Trump who is named Ronald Klump.
Snoop Dogg also supported famous rapper Eminem, with an instagram video message, when he slammed President Trump with a freestyle rap track named “The Storm” during the BET Hip Hop Awards earlier this month.
