Dhaka Attack  still going strong
The Police action-thriller Dhaka Attack continues to be well received by the audience as of the end of its opening week (October 6 - October 12). Because of the growing demand, the Blockbuster Cinema at Jamuna Future Park in Dhaka has increased the daily number of shows from three to five. Blockbuster authority made this decision to handle the huge pressure of movie-goers. The Dhaka Attack team is extremely happy with the news. Meanwhile, the film, which was initially released nationwide across 122 theatres, will start showing in eight additional movie theatres from the next week (October 13). Dipon thinks the film is reaching another milestone with the announcement. The Dhaka Attack director said: “After a houseful week across the nation, the audience and critic response remains overwhelmingly positive, and there is no news better than this to a filmmaker.” The film was jointly produced by Splash Multimedia, Three Wheelers Ltd and Dhaka Police Poribar Kalyan  Samiti Ltd. A star-studded cast of Arifin Shuvo, Mahiya Mahi, Afzal Hossain, ABM Sumon, Shatabdi Wadud, Taskeen Rahman and Quazi Nawshaba Ahmed can be seen in versatile roles in the movie. Dhaka Attack has grossed over a record-breaking Tk7.5 crore in two days after its release, confirmed the Box Office of Bangladesh (BOB). This action packed film will also hit international theatres on October 20 this year.
