Obscure features Suchitra Sen
Obscure, one of the popular names in the local band scene, has previously announced their upcoming album “Stop Genocide”. It has recently been disclosed that the album features a song called “Suchitra Sen”. Obscure released the track written by Amit Goswami on YouTube on October 4. Formed in Khulna in 1985, Obscure incorporatesfolk, blues, rock, funk, pop, reggae and Latin elements in their tracks. The versatile band has released 11 Studio Albums as of 2016. Obscure's vocalist Sayed Hasan Tipu is really excited about the song dedicated to the actress Suchitra Sen. He believes that the song will remind people of Suchitra. “Suchitra loved visiting Darjeeling and the song reminds people of the mountains and snow,” he added. The track has already garnered a lot of attention from fansand already has a large following. Suchitra Sen, the queen of Bengali and Hindi cinemas from 50s to 70s, was born in Sen Bhanga Bari village of Belkuchi upazila, now in Sirajganj district, Pabna district of Bangladesh. Suchitra played the lead roles in a lot of classic films such as Sharey Chuattor, Devdas, Shilpi, Harano Sur,  Chaowa Paowa.
