Bangladesh Betar gives out prizes to quiz competition winners

35 winners of a quiz competition, based on 20 episodes of the program ‘Cinerong’, were presented with prizes and crests on Monday at Bangladesh Betar’s old office at Shahbag, a press release from the national radio station said. Cinerong, a weekly program on Bangladeshi films, is broadcast on Bangladesh Betar every Monday from 4:30 to 5pm. The director general of Bangladesh Betar and additional secretary Md Nasir Uddin Ahmed was present at the prize giving ceremony, along with all the heads of unit. Celebrity actors Ferdous Ahmed, Apu Biswas, director Bulvul Biswas, eminenet playback singers Andrew Kishore and Khurshid Alam were preset as special guests. Anchored by Majhharul Islam and Tasnuva Tonni, the program was presided over by the director of commercial operation Dr Mir Shah Alam. The event was streamed live from Bangladesh Betar’s Facebook page.
