Boro Chele, the telefilm revolving around the life of a middle class romantic, has taken the internet by storm after its broadcast during the Eid. Many were seen praising the creation of young director Mizanur Rahman Ariyan, saying that the realistic story and acting of Boro Chele made them burst into tears.
Uploaded on CD Choice’s Youtube channel, Boro Chele received more than 3 million views to date, which may be the highest for a Bangla telefilm on Youtube.

However, many have demanded the re-airing of the telefilm on TV in various social media outlets and Channel Nine, and the original broadcaster of the telefilm has responded to the masses’ demand.
Upon the request of the audience, Channel Nine will air Boro Chele three days in a row, starting from September 14. The telefilm will be aired at 11pm everyday on September 14, 15 and 16, confirmed Mizanur Rahman Ariyan.
“Firstly, it’s better to inform that my grandfather, father and I are the eldest sons in our family. But this is not the story of my life, rather the one I’ve witnessed closely,” said Ariyan, the budding director.
“Many of my childhood memories were popping up in my mind when I was working on the telefilm. Like the ones of the house tutors. These are the events I’ve tried to capture in my frames,” he added.
