A book focusing on the life and works of legendary actor Abdur Razzak is being written by Shopner Thikana famed Dhallywood director Chotku Ahmed. “Final talks have been done with BD Publications regarding the publication of Razzak bhai’s biography,” Chotku wrote in his status on Facebook, confirming the news.
According to the director, the book is titled “Nayak Raj Razzak- Tallygonj Theke Dhallywood” and will be published on the occasion of the upcoming Ekushey Boimela next year.
The director also informed that he communicated with Bapparaj and Samrat, sons of the acting legend, regarding the publication of the book.
“There’s a lot to learn from Razzak’s life. The biography of Razzak will be a great guide for the new generation, which is why I’ve come to the thought of writing the book,” said Chotku, the director who featured Razzak in three of his films, including his directorial debut Natbou.
Legendary film star Razzak died at the age of 75 on August 21 at the United Hospital in Dhaka.
