Bollywood mega star, Amitabh Bachchan took a walk down memory lane, and remembered the time he shot with Hollywood star Leonardo DiCaprio, whom he calls the “most humble and down to earth” person.
Amitabh shared a photograph of himself, along with DiCaprio from the premier of the 2013 film The Great Gatsby on his blog and wrote: “The Great Gatsby premier at Cannes and with the star Leonardo DiCaprio at the red carpet and then on stage. Me giving introduction speech in Hindi. 100 years of Indian Cinema. He a most humble and down to earth co-star.”
He also added that DiCaprio was “caring and considerate through out the making of the film.”
The Great Gatsby was an adaptation of F Scott Fitzgerald’s novel of the same name. DiCaprio played the protagonist Jay Gatsby in the lauded film, while Amitabh Bachchan donned the role of his friend Meyer Wolfsheim, a gambler in a cameo.
On the work front, the Piku actor, Amitabh is busy with the upcoming Vijay Krishna Acharya film Thugs Of Hindostan, which also stars superstar Aamir Khan, making it the first venture of the two iconic Bollywood actors together. Amitabh will also be seen in the role of Rishi Kapoor’s father, a 102-year-old man, in an upcoming film titled 102 Not Out, with veteran actor Rishi Kapoor.
