Renowned Indian actress Paoli Dam is all set to get married. The Kaalbela famed actress is tying the knot with a Bengali businessman named Arjun Dev on December 4, sources confirmed. The marriage ceremony will be held at Taaj Hotel, Guahati.
Although, both the families are planning a grandiose reception in Kolkata, an initial reception is planned at the same venue a day after the marriage ceremony.
Arjun Dev has studied in San Francisco for a few years and has taken over his father’s business upon return. The couple has known each other for the last two years, while Arjun found himself a big Paoli aficionado.
According to several Indian newspapers, preparation for the ceremony, which has been fixed three days ago, is going on at full speed.
Dam was born in Kolkata, West Bengal to a Bengali family which is originally from Faridpur District, Bangladesh. She began her career in 2004 with the Bengali television serial Jibon Niye Khela. She had a breakthrough in her career, through the film Kaalbela, an adaptation of noted author Samaresh Majumdar’s novel of the same title. She then went on to act in several other films of both Bollywood and Tollywood, including Hate Story and the infamous Chatrak. The actress also starred in a Dhallywood film recently. Titled as Swatta, Paoli was cast opposite Shakib Khan, the King Khan of Dhallywood.
