Nowadays, the right music video can make or break you in the industry. Competition in the entertainment industry is intense, and the audience is always hankering for more. For this reason, up-and-coming band Parthibo has decided to take greater control over what reaches their fans and make their own music videos.
The band chose the song “Boishakh” from their album Shwagoto Bangladesh for their first attempt. After a whole night of arranging and editing, they released the music video on April 13. It was uploaded through the official YouTube channel of CMV.
According to vocalist and lead guitarist Rumon, “it was a different experience, and totally new for us as well, but we are happy with this new dimension and want to continue doing it.”
The other members of Parthibo are vocalist and keyboard player Roni, bass guitarist Kibria Kibu, drummer and percussionist Shubho, and Selim Haider as guest guitarist. So far, they have released five albums - Baundole (2005), Uttshorgo Nijeke (20011), Parthibo The Definitive Album (2014) and Shwagoto Bangladesh (2016).
